Welcome!

Presented by The M.U.S.I.C. Project, Paradise City is a live performance powered by San Antonio creators and artists. The show was written by Ricky Hernandez, Tito Villalobos Moreno, and Richard Rosen (of the Magik Theater), and was inspired by many of the classic rock operas of the 1970s.

Featuring award-winning local singer/songwriters Lucas Jack and Bekah Kelso in the lead vocal roles, with a bevy of San Antonio talent rounding out the vocal cast and house band.

For three nights only, Paradise City will be performed at The Josephine Theater, a community non-profit theater house.

A portion of proceeds from the show will benefit The M.U.S.I.C. Project and the Tito Villalobos Moreno Scholarship Fund.

Fundraising

So exciting! With the support of fans and local business partners, we successfully raised over $10,000 to put on the show and release the EP!!! While the fundraising campaign has officially ended, we are still welcoming any business sponsors who may want to help underwrite some of the production expenses that were not covered by the fundraising efforts. Please reach out to the production team today to setup a meeting and have your business promoted at the live show and on the EP artwork!

Story

The music tells the story of a dreamer named Jimmy as he and his bandmates, The Heroes, seek to find their place in the world. When they arrive in Paradise City, it seems they’ve found it all: love, fame, money and more. Freedom and excess rule the day! But those in power have dark motivations and the city is not what it seems.

Inspired by the classic concept albums and rock operas of the 1970s, Paradise City is part rock show, part musical theater and something completely different. Thanks so much for checking us out and feel free reach out with any questions or comments!
